If so, join the G-lux team, a boutique supplier specialising in Natural Stone and Porcelain to Melbourne’s top Architects, Interior Designers, Developers, and Construction industry professionals.

In this exciting role, you will work in Melbourne, developing a rapport with our extensive client base by providing robust product solutions and securing specification work. This position requires a sales-focused professional who operates with integrity to represent us in the Melbourne market.

Your responsibilities will include front line sales, generating new business, servicing existing clients, achieving sales targets, and managing projects from specification stage through to final completion. With a strong strategic sales ability and industry knowledge, you will maintain close relationships within the Melbourne Architectural & Design community, providing a total solution for our clients.

A successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the specifications industry and a proven track record of sales within the Architectural & Design specification community. Skills in business development, account management, and a background or passion for Interior Design/Architecture will be highly regarded.

The candidate will also demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • The ability to absorb and act on information about new products, techniques, and styles in the design world.
  • A strong customer service orientation and a track record in achieving results.

Warehouse Assistant

Duties of Role:

  • Assist in warehouse operations.
  • Operate forklift and overhead crane
  • Packing stock for orders, dispatching,
loading & unloading containers as well as truck.
  • Load and unload pallets and stone slabs
  • Processing inward goods
  • Help team with this task when required.
  • Check documents for thoroughness and completeness and prepare additional documentation when necessary.
  • Fill and/ or review paperwork from deliveries
  • Participate in stock take
  • General Warehouse duties

YOU MUST:

Obtain Forklift licence

Be physically fit as this role can be physically demanding (Lifting 25kg Boxes)

Be eligible to work fulltime

Have some experience in using Moffet forklift back of the truck would be an added advantage

Obtaining HR Truck Drivers’ licence is an added advantage, but not mandatory.

Having warehouse experience is an added advantage, but not mandatory.

About the Role

This role, will deliver a high level of service and support to the Operations team, of the business. The role will be responsible for accounts function of the business whilst assisting many different stake holders in the business.

Duties will include:

  • accounting in all the aspects
  • month end procedures
  • cashflow management
  • prepare financial reports & cash flow reports
  • managing AR and AP
  • reconciliations
  • financial reports & cash flow reports
  • establishing budgets and forecasts for projects and departments
  • Analysing financial performance to provide insights and cost savings
  • prepare PAYG summaries, superannuation summaries for distribution and arrange payments

About you

We expect the successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification. Relevant work experience will be highly regarding in addition to evidence that you possess:

  • excellent MYOB Accounting knowledge
  • fluent Word and Excel skills
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • excellent communication
  • attention to detail is a must
  • ability to work independently without supervision
  • reliability and punctuality is a must
  • must have a hands-on approach
  • ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team and external parties.

The successful applicant will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for Accounts Function.
